Good day, Ma'am/Sir. I'm Myrna, 36 years old, and a mother of three, my daughter is 14, and I have twin boys who are 11. I’m from the Philippines. I worked in Hong Kong as domestic helper back in 2017 for over a year and then spent 2 years and 3 months in Dubai from 2019 to 2021. I returned to Hong Kong on December 12, 2023, and worked for my last employer for 1 year and 7 months. They had two adults and one child. My daily tasks included cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, ironing, and taking care of the baby. Unfortunately, I was terminated on August 2024, because they could no longer afford to pay my salary.

Right now, I'm in Hong Kong again with my current employer since October 2024. I work for a couple with one child. My daily routine starts at 6:30 AM, where I prepare breakfast for their 15-year-old son. After he leaves home, I tidy his room and clean the other rooms, toilets, and balcony. Then I do the laundry and fold the clothes. I cook and pack a lunch box before 1 PM. After I come back and have lunch, I mop the floors, do grocery shopping, and start preparing dinner around 4 PM, cooking at 6 PM. They usually have dinner at 7 PM. After dinner, I wash the dishes, clean the kitchen, and take out the trash. I'm looking for a new employer as I will finish my current contract on October 31, 2026.
