Hi, I'm Nelita. I'm 55 years old, married, and I have two kids. I'm originally from the Philippines. I've worked for two years in Dubai, UAE, and for 12 years here in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. During the pandemic, my previous employer had to let me go while I was on holiday in the Philippines. Right now, I’ve been with my current employer, a Taiwanese couple with two kids aged 14 and 10, for about a year and eight months. My main duties include cooking, cleaning, shopping, ironing clothes, and dropping the youngest child off at the school bus and activities. However, my employer is moving out of Hong Kong, and I've recently joined a new Indian family. Unfortunately, I’m planning to terminate my contract with them because they haven’t treated me well.
