Hi, I am Novie. I am 29 years old and I am from the Philippines, but right now I'm in Hong Kong. From 2021 to 2023, I worked as a helper for a Filipino family back home. Then, in August 2024, I moved to Hong Kong to work for a family of four, two adults and twin baby boys. I'm their only helper, and I handle all the household chores, cooking, and grocery shopping, while also taking care of the twins. It's been really challenging for me to manage everything, especially since I haven't had much rest while caring for them. Keeping the house clean and tidy, along with cooking and shopping, has been tough, especially with the limited food they provide. And lately, i have been sick frequently and they wont give me my sick leave even when the doctor ckearly said what I really need is rest to recover fully. Because of this, I've decided to break my contract and look for a new employer. My last working day is on November 9, 2025.
