Hi, I’m Pamela. I’m 41 years old and have been working as a domestic helper for 14 years, completing all my contracts. My first family was Chinese, and I worked with them for 4 years. I learned a lot about Chinese cooking and can speak some basic Cantonese and Mandarin. Then, I worked for a British family for 8 years. They didn’t renew my contract because their kids grew up and didn’t need a helper anymore. During that time, I learned to cook Spanish and Western food, and they even trusted me with their medium-sized dog. Currently, I’m with a British-American-Japanese family with 3 kids, one of whom has special needs. I’ve been here for almost 2 years and will finish on December 22, 2026. It requires a lot of patience and understanding, but the family has been really good to me, and I don’t have any complaints. Cooking and baking are my passions. I think my current employer doesn’t buy bread, pastries, or cakes from outside because it’s all homemade, so I guess my love for cooking and baking has paid off! I’m also a sporty person; I enjoy dragon boating, hiking, and running marathons. I’m trustworthy, loyal, and honest, and I’m pretty strict about keeping the kids and family safe.
