Raquel

Hi, I’m Raquel. I’m 51 years old, single, and I have one child. I’ve been working in Hong Kong for the last six years with three different employers.

I started working here in 2019. My first job was caring for an elderly woman who had a mild stroke. There were three adults in the family, but my main duty was to look after her. I accompanied her to doctor appointments, managed her medication three times a day, and also did some household chores.

For my second employer, I took care of a three-year-old girl. In the mornings, I would wake her up, get her ready for school, and prepare her meals. I often took her to her activities, like swimming lessons and English classes, and I also handled regular household chores.

Now, I’m working for my current employer, taking care of two teenage girls in a family of three. I don’t have as much work here since they’re a bit older. I prepare their breakfast, especially when they have classes. I don’t cook much because they usually eat dinner at home, so once they leave for the day, I clean the house. I also take care of their cat. This is my second contract with this employer, but I am not sure if they will renew it, which is why I decided to fill out this application and look for a new employer. My contract will finish on September 28, 2026 looking forward to meeting my future employer. As for my personality, I just adjust to fit my employer’s needs. All I hope for is to be treated well, and I promise to do the same in return.
