Hi there, my name is Rica. I’m 29 years old and I’m single, originally from the Philippines. For the last two years, I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, where I focused mainly on taking care of a child from the age of one through their toddler years. I will finish my contract on July 2026. My job included everything from preparing healthy meals and setting up consistent sleep routines to creating a safe and loving environment as the child grew more active and curious. As the child got older, I shifted from basic care to helping with their early development. This included organizing fun educational play, encouraging their first words, and assisting with potty training. I also took care of household chores like cleaning, grocery shopping, and scheduling to make sure everything ran smoothly for the family. I really take pride in my patience and my ability to be a reliable support system, and I’m looking forward to bringing that same commitment to a new family.

I’m also a licensed professional teacher from Pamplona, Cagayan, and I currently work here in Hong Kong. I passed the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers back in the Philippines, which gives me a strong educational background and a solid work ethic. Being single allows me to focus on my professional growth and the responsibilities I have for the families I work with. My education experience has really helped me in my current job, as I approach childcare with patience, good communication, and an understanding of child development. I’m a hardworking person who takes pride in my roots in Cagayan and everything I’ve achieved so far, always trying to balance my personal values with my work.
