My name is Rommelie, and I’m 45 years old. I’ve been a domestic helper for 5 years. I spent 4 years in the UAE working for a couple with 4 kids, where my main tasks were cooking, housekeeping, and looking after the kids. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong and have been with my current employer for 1 year and 6 months, taking care of 2 adults and 2 kids. I do similar work as before. Unfortunately, my current employer has decided to terminate my contract, as they no longer need a helper, and I was released on May 23, 2026.
