Hi, I’m Rosalie, and I’m 33 years old. I have 7 years of experience as a domestic helper, mostly from my time in Saudi Arabia, where I worked for a bit over 6 years for two different families. With my first employer, I stayed for 4 years and 3 months, taking care of a family of four: a couple and their two kids, a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. My responsibilities included cleaning the house, washing and ironing clothes, doing the dishes, cooking, and looking after the children. For my second employer in Saudi Arabia, I worked for 2 years, caring for an elderly couple and their two sons, who were 24 and 30 years old. My job was pretty similar—cleaning, doing laundry, washing dishes, and cooking.

Right now, I'm in Hong Kong working with my current employer for almost 6 months. I help a family of 5, which includes a couple, their 4-year-old daughter, and two elderly members. My duties focus on caring for the little girl, taking her to and from the school bus, tutoring her, cooking, cleaning, and assisting the elderly with shopping. Unfortunately, I’ve decided to break my contract and will be released on September 18, 2026. So, I’m looking for a new employer.
