Rose Marie

Hi, I’m Rose Marie, and I’m 32 years old. I have almost 4 years of experience as a domestic helper. I spent two of those years in Kuwait, and then I moved to Hong Kong where I’ve worked for two different employers. My first employer was a couple with two kids, and I stayed with them for 1 year and 11 months. I handled cooking, housekeeping, and taking care of the kids. Unfortunately, my contract terminated there because they had to relocate outside of Hong Kong.

Currently, I’ve been with my second employer for about a month. I work for another couple who have one child, and my duties also include cooking, housekeeping, and childcare. However, due to personal reasons, I’m planning to break my contract, but I will stay until I find a new employer. On a positive note, I’m a hardworking person who can manage tasks without supervision. I’m good at multitasking and time management. Plus, I like to think of myself as a happy person.

I hold a CERTIFIED PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID FOR CAREGIVER certificate, which I earned at YMCA Migrants Workers Training in Hong Kong last May 2025. This certificate is valid until May 2028. The course taught how to perform first aid from newborns up to toddlers, and we also learned first aid techniques for teens and adults. Additionally, I have a CERTIFIED INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LEARNING TEST SYSTEM certificate, which I also obtained at YMCA of Hong Kong. This course helped me improve my English speaking and writing skills.
