Roselia

My name is Roselia, 49 years old, and Filipino. I genuinely love taking care of children. As a mother of five, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience raising kids, which helped me develop strong caregiving skills. In Hong Kong, my first employer was a Filipino couple with a 3-year-old son. I worked with their family for four years as a nanny and household helper.  After that, I started working for a Chinese couple with a 9-year-old daughter. Although my role included general household duties, they emphasized that my main responsibility was to care for and tutor their daughter after school. Currently, I’m working for a family where my main responsibilities include taking care of their dog, doing household chores, and cooking. Since my employers usually work from home, I make sure to keep the house in order and prepare meals throughout the day. I walk the dog at least twice daily and have also taken the opportunity to explore different styles of cooking and baking, depending on their requests. I'll finsih my contract on September 20, 2025, and I'm looking for a new employer. 

One of the qualities that has helped me succeed in all my roles is my ability to adapt and always give my best effort. I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. During workdays, I stay fully focused on my tasks. On my days off, I spend quality time catching up with my family through video calls and chats, and I enjoy playing volleyball with the friends I’ve made here in Hong Kong.
