Roselyn

Hi, I’m Roselyn, I’m 42 years old and I’m from the Philippines. I’m the eldest of nine siblings and I have two boys, ages 16 and 10. I worked in Singapore for two years from 2014 to 2016, where I finished my contract. I was part of a family of five, which included a couple, their grandmother, and two kids aged 4 and 2. My duties included picking up and dropping off the kids at school, doing all the housework like cleaning, cooking, ironing, marketing, and even washing the car. I finished that job because my employer moved to Malaysia.

My second experience was in Hong Kong, where I completed a two-year contract from 2022 to 2024. I worked for a family of seven in a residential house in Saikung. This included a young couple, two elderly people aged 86 and 85, and three kids aged 4, 2, and a newborn. My responsibilities were to take care of the kids, pick them up from school, help them get ready, and manage all the household tasks like laundry, cooking, marketing, gardening, and car washing.

Currently, I’m working with a Western family of three. My employer is Australian and his wife is Chinese, and they have a 3-year-old daughter. I’ve been with them for almost two years now. My duties include preparing food for their daughter, picking her up from school, taking her to her extracurricular activities, and handling all the household chores like laundry, cooking, ironing, and marketing. I also help arrange playdates for her on the weekends. My contract is finishing on December 2, 2026, so I’m looking for a new employer. Thank you.
