Sheila May

Hi, I'm Sheila May. I'm 43 years old and I'm from the Philippines. I have an 18-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter. I spent almost 8 years working in Saudi Arabia, where I took care of two adults and two boys. My main focus was on looking after the kids — bathing them, feeding them, playing, and helping with their daily routine, including taking them to and from school. I also did some simple cooking, followed recipes, went to the supermarket, and kept things clean. I've always loved dogs; we’ve had pets at home since I was a kid.

Right now, I'm in Hong Kong and have been for 14 months, taking care of three kids aged 4, 3, and 14 months. I'm thinking of breaking my contract once I find a new employer.

Honestly, working here in Hong Kong has been tough. While I can give my body some rest, it's not easy for my mind and soul to heal. That’s why I’m really looking for an employer who treats their helpers fairly and understands our needs.
