Shella May

Hello, I’m Shella May. I’m 39 years old and married, living in the Philippines. I studied nursing at Saint Mary's University in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, but I also completed a vocational course as a caregiver at a local academy. I’m hardworking and reliable, and I’m looking for a domestic helper position. While I may be new to formal domestic work, I manage my own home, which includes daily cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. I can cook Filipino dishes and basic meals, like stir-fried veggies, beef with broccoli, garlic chicken, and fried rice. I’m still improving my cooking skills but I’m a quick learner and open to training.

In my work experience, I spent two years in Dubai caring for a toddler, a 2-year-old boy. My job was to look after him, play with him, teach him how to read and write, read books, feed him, and help with his daily needs. In Taipei, I took care of a 94-year-old woman who had cancer. As her caregiver, I helped her with daily activities like basic exercises, bathing, changing diapers, monitoring vital signs, and giving her medicine. I also did household chores to keep everything clean and ensure she had proper hygiene. I’m skilled in first aid and vital signs monitoring, too. I love pets, and I have 6 dogs and 5 cats at home.
