Hi, I’m Shirley, and I’m 36 years old. I’ve been working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong for the almost 9 years. My first job was from May 2013 to 2015 with a family of five. They had a couple, a 5-year-old boy, and the grandparents. I handled all the household tasks, including marketing, cooking, cleaning, car washing, and taking care of the little boy.

For my second employer, I worked from July 2015 to December 2019. It was a family of four, with a couple and their two kids— a 2-year-old girl and a newborn— plus two cats. My duties included all the household chores like cleaning, cooking, and marketing, as well as caring for the kids: feeding the baby, giving baths, and everything else they needed. I also took care of the cats, feeding and cleaning up after them.

My third job was from December 2023 to November 2024. I worked for a couple with twins who were 7 months old. I did all the household chores and took care of the babies, including feeding, changing diapers, giving baths, and teaching them.

Currently, I’m with my fourth employer, where there are two adults and three cats. I’ve been here since January 2025, and I’m responsible for all the household chores like cooking, cleaning, marketing, car washing, and grooming and feeding the cats. I’ve decided to break my contract for personal reasons, and my last day will be on August 24, 2026. I’m really hoping to have the chance to work in your household. I enjoy doing household chores and taking care of kids and newborns. I’m willing to learn and can work independently without supervision. I’m a happy and cheerful person, and I really love kids. I consider myself independent, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your home. Thank you!
