Hi, I’m Toni. I’m 36 years old, and I’ve been working as a domestic helper for about 10 years. This includes 2 and a half years in Saudi Arabia, where I took care of children, especially those with autism. I helped them with feeding, bathing, and giving their medicine. I consider myself a patient person at work and I’m always willing to learn new tasks. Right now, I’m in Hong Kong, where I’ve been with my current employer for 7 years and 8 months. I started working with this family in 2018. My first job was taking care of my boss’s brother, who was 54 and had cancer. I looked after him until he became bedridden, which was about 8 months. After that, I took care of their grandson, who was just 1 year old at the time. When another helper didn’t renew, I became the only helper, and then two granddaughters were born. My tasks include cooking, cleaning the house, and taking the kids to school. I’m finishing my 8-year contract on December 6, 2026, and I’m currently looking for a new employer.
