Hello future employer, My name is Violeta, and I'm from the Philippines. I’m a single mother to a wonderful 1-year-old girl.

I’ve been working as a helper for almost 13 years, starting next month. I do this to support my child's education back home and to help build our own home in the future. We live in the Luzon part of the Philippines. I’ve been working here at HKU for nearly a year, but I need to break my contract because of some really stressful circumstances.

Both sides of my employer’s parents are living with us. When I interviewed, they said it was just a visit, but here we are, almost a year later, and they're still here. It’s been quite chaotic day and night. I’m hoping to find a family or home where love, joy, and respect are a part of life. Right now, I take care of two boys who are 3 and 6 years old, along with the couple and two sets of grandparents. I can cook Chinese, Asian, and Western dishes, and I'm good at following recipes. I also have reference letters from my previous employers. My daily routine includes preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, dropping off and picking up the younger child from school, and handling grocery shopping, laundry, ironing, and cleaning.
