Wilda

I worked in Singapore from April 2014 to February 2016. In my first job, I took care of a family of three. My main responsibility was looking after an elderly couple aged 77 and 69. The husband had a stroke, so I made sure the floors were always clean, gave them their medications on time, and helped them exercise three times a week. I was also responsible for taking them to the hospital and managed to do this by bus and train without my employer's help. In addition to caregiving, I did house chores, prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner, washed the car, did laundry, and went grocery shopping.

My second employer had a family of five. My main duty was to take care of the mother, who had an injury on her leg. We did exercises every day, and after a year, she was able to manage on her own. I helped her take baths, prepared her clothes, made sure she took her medications on time, and assisted her brother during hospital visits. I also cooked, did laundry, and took care of the house chores. Additionally, I helped prepare the bed for my employer's sister due to her condition. I am finishing my contract in April.
