Hi, I’m Ayra. I'm 34 years old, single, and I have one child. I've been working in Hong Kong for almost six years now. My first employer was a British Chinese American family with two kids. In the mornings, I’d prepare their breakfast, snacks, and lunchboxes, and then get them ready for school. I dropped them off and picked them up too. After dropping them at school, I would head to the market to buy groceries, and then I'd do some household chores at home. In the afternoon, I’d pick them up and help carry their things for activities like fencing, rugby, painting, dancing, and swimming. I did this regularly. If they didn’t have activities on some days, I would either organize indoor or outdoor playdates for them to meet their friends. We also enjoyed baking together at home. My current employer is a Serbian family with two adults and two kids – a 2-year-old and an 8-month-old baby. Every morning, I drop the 2-year-old off at school. After that, I go to the supermarket and take care of household chores. I make sure to prepare food for both the baby and the 2-year-old. When the 2-year-old gets back from school, she has lunch, and then both kids take a nap in the afternoon. Once they wake up, it’s time to eat again! We also have playdates with their friends and sometimes visit their friends’ houses. We enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities together. My contract ends on September 25, 2025, so I’m looking for a new employer by then. Thank you for your time!
