Hi ma'am/sir, I'm Yowelyn, 36 years old from the Philippines. I have two boys, ages 14 and 9.

I worked in Malaysia for three years. My first employer was a Chinese family — three adults, two kids, and a big dog. I did household work like cleaning, tidying, washing clothes, cooking, ironing, car washing, and I cared for one elderly person with a mental condition. I finished my contract there.

My second employer in Malaysia was a single lady, 61 years old.

I worked for her for one year. She passed away — she was sick with bone cancer.

Then I worked in Hong Kong for a family of two adults and three kids. I was there only one month because they went back to China before COVID-19. I came back to Hong Kong in 2022 to work for a Chinese family with four adults and one child. I worked there for 1 year and 5 months. My madam wanted to change the helper to a Chinese or Indonesian because the two elderly people I cared for did not speak English, so they had trouble communicating when my madam was away.

Now I came back to Hong Kong in 2024 and worked for a Chinese family with two adults and two kids. I finished my contract on May 30, 2026. I'm looking for a new employer who appreciates my hard work and loyalty, and who can give me a little privacy and good food. I hope you will choose me as your helper. Thank you so much and God bless.
