Hi, I’m an experienced helper with about 4 years of work experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. I spent 2 years in Indonesia caring for an elderly patient who was half-paralyzed. My tasks included moving the patient from the bed to a wheelchair, changing adult diapers, giving showers, making sure they got their medicine on time, preparing soft food or porridge, and just being there to keep them company. I’m not afraid of heavy work.

2. After that, I worked for 2 years in Singapore looking after 3 children, the youngest being just 18 months old. My duties were making baby food, feeding a picky eater, changing diapers, giving the baby showers, handling all the housework, cooking Indonesian meals, doing the shopping, and ironing.

SKILLS:

I’m skilled in cooking, taking care of the elderly and children, housekeeping, washing, and ironing. I can cook Indonesian food, and I’m eager to learn how to cook Chinese food as well.

PERSONALITY:

I would describe myself as patient, hardworking, honest, and responsible. I don’t use my phone at work because I focus on what I’m doing. I really enjoy keeping the house clean and tidy. I can work independently and often don’t need much supervision. I treat elderly people like they’re part of my family.

I’m looking for a long-term job caring for the elderly or doing cooking and housework. My expected salary for elderly care is S$900.
