I first came to work in Singapore back in 2010 for an Indian family. They had one daughter, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I didn’t get enough food or sleep, and there were no days off. I stayed with them for about a year and a half. After that, I found a job with a Chinese family as my second employer. I looked after their baby who was just 5 months old, along with two boys. They treated me well, like a part of the family, and I worked for them for five years. They eventually didn’t need a helper anymore, but we still keep in touch and have a good connection even now.
