Evangeline

Hi there, good day! I'm Evangeline. I’m originally from the Philippines, but I’m currently in Kuwait working as a domestic worker, or housemaid. I started my journey here in 2000, caring for a 43-year-old man with diabetes. I helped him with his insulin shots three times a day and made sure he took his other medications before meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and I also prepared his special diet. He was the Chief Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority and was married but didn't have any kids. I worked with him for three years before going back home to the Philippines.

After spending some time there, I applied for a job in Dubai. After my time in Dubai, I returned to Kuwait in 2006 and stayed until 2020. I had to leave because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2021, I got a job in Saudi Arabia taking care of my employer's mother in the hospital. She was around 63 or 73 years old, and I worked there until 2023. Then I returned to the Philippines to rest for a bit. Now in 2025, I’m back in Kuwait for the third time.

As for my personality, I try to keep God in my heart. I know life isn’t easy, and I believe we are here to work to live. I’ve learned to be patient, passionate, and trustworthy. People say I’m a good listener and obedient. I really value a peaceful and happy life, and I’m also a big cat lover. I’ll be available for work after Ramadan on March 20.
