Hi, I’m Juvie, I’m 44 years old and a mother of five. I started my work abroad in 2009, first in the UAE as a Sales Associate for 3 years. After that, I worked in Kuwait for 2 years, then in Singapore for 4 years, and now I’ve been in Malaysia for 4 years. Right now, I work for a Chinese family with two adults and two kids. My duties include cooking, housekeeping, and even a bit of marketing. Throughout my time working overseas, I've learned so much and it has really shaped me into the person I am today. I’ll be finishing my current contract on June 5, 2026, and I'm looking for a new employer.
As a nanny, I’ve learned to be more patient, especially when the kids have tantrums. It’s important for me to set aside my other house chores to focus on them and find ways to calm them down, like playing with them. Time management is key too, juggling house chores while taking care of a newborn can be quite challenging and tiring. But it’s part of my responsibilities, and I truly enjoy what I do. Being a mother means making sacrifices and working hard to provide a better life for my children. I also want to keep growing, learning new things, and improving my skills.
