Hello, I’m Amor. When I worked in Malaysia as a domestic helper and elderly caregiver, I had a mix of household tasks and direct care for seniors. I helped them with bathing, grooming, dressing, and changing diapers. I also made sure transfers from bed to wheelchair were safe, using walking frames or sticks when needed. I managed their daily medications, kept track of their vital signs, and worked with doctors and nurses. I provided emotional support to help reduce feelings of isolation and engaged them in light activities to keep their minds active. I cooked special meals that fit their health needs, did daily cleaning, laundry, and made sure their living space was safe. I also took care of errands like grocery shopping and going with them to doctor appointments.
