Madam/Sir, hello!

My name is Anreand, I’m 36 years old, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m ready to work and can do so with little supervision. I pride myself on being honest and trustworthy. My previous employers were both Chinese families, and I worked well with them.

From 2019 to 2022, I worked for a family of five—mom, dad, and their two kids, a 2-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, plus their healthy 65-year-old grandmother. I helped pamper her with back and leg massages and would listen to her stories. I also assisted the kids with their homework. If they ever needed something important at school and I was busy, either I would bring it to them or the parents would step in. I handled all the meals during the day based on their requests, or sometimes I would just make whatever I thought they would like. I took care of the kids’ hygiene and read them bedtime stories too. My experience as a parent has really taught me patience. I enjoy my work, and they had a Chihuahua named Max that I also looked after. My contract ended when they moved to a different city for work.

From 2022 to 2025, I worked for another family of five with two male bosses. Their mom was 88 years old, and they had two daughters who were 12 and 13 at the time. I was responsible for caregiving for their mom, which also included housekeeping and preparing all the meals. I would pack food for school and help tutor the kids in English since they spoke it at home. My boss asked me to manage their mom’s medications, including insulin injections, and I kept track of everything needed to help her feel better. I always maintained a detailed logbook for my work. I enjoyed my time with that family, sharing meals together, which felt like family bonding. I’m attentive to details and always try my best. They had a dog, Arya, who is a Chow Chow.

My contract ended when I was about to give birth to my youngest son, as I was eight months pregnant.
