Hi, I'm Arma. I'm 48 years old and a single mom with four kids. I'm from the Philippines, and I have been working as a caregiver for the elderly here for about nine years. My job involves preparing meals, giving medications as prescribed by doctors, monitoring vital signs day and night, and providing enteral feeding through NGT. I also help with bed bathing, perineal care, managing bed sores, and caring for catheters. I’m experienced with oral suctioning and nebulization, and I always make sure it's safe to transfer patients between the bed and wheelchair. I keep records of daily activities as well. Before this, I worked as a domestic helper in Hong Kong from 2010 to 2017. My focus there was more on taking care of infants and toddlers. My duties included preparing meals and milk bottles, helping with bathing and hygiene, picking up and dropping off children at school, tutoring them in English, assisting with indoor and outdoor activities, providing bed-time supervision, and keeping the house clean.
