Ashly Mae

Hi, I'm Ashly Mae, and I'm 37 years old. I have a 14-year-old daughter. I graduated from a one-year Practical Nursing program at VFD Training School in 2010, but I’m still working on my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. I have experience as a caregiver, starting in 2015. I worked for six years with a patient who had a complicated illness. He was 59 years old when he passed away due to complications related to hemodialysis. During that time, I also handled housework, prepared meals, and managed medications.

After my work ended in 2018, I decided to focus on taking care of my daughter. I was very involved in her schooling and helped with tutoring. Once the pandemic was over, I started working again as a caregiver, this time with a patient who has Alzheimer’s disease. I worked with a family that had four adults and one child. My duties included preparing meals for my patient, managing her medication, taking vital signs, and recording them. I also assisted with therapy and helped with house chores like cleaning, gardening, and shopping. Plus, I took care of the child by sending him to school and preparing his food.

I’m a hard-working, honest, loyal, and punctual person. I adapt easily to new environments and always keep a positive attitude. I’m eager to learn and looking for a chance to work abroad. Thank you!
