I am Carmie, 37 years old from the Philippines, a solo parent with two children aged 14 and 17. I worked as a cleaner in the city government from January 2023 to December 2025, and as a helper in the Philippines from January 2017 to January 2019 ( 2 years) for a family with two children. My duties included bringing the kids to school, cleaning, washing, ironing, marketing, gardening, and cooking healthy meals. I also worked abroad in Kuwait for 2 years as a helper, caring for a 3‑year‑old child, preparing food, assisting with school, homework, and playtime, along with household chores.
