Good day! I'm Cecilia, but you can call me Cecil. I'm 40 years old and married since 2012. I have a 6-year-old daughter. I'm the oldest in my family, where I have one sister and one brother. My mom is 66, and my dad is 67. We are from San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines, but right now, I'm living in Antipolo City with my husband and daughter. I graduated from a two-year vocational course at the Marikina Institute of Science and Technology. My first job was as a cashier and server in a restaurant from 2004 to 2017. I stopped working when I got pregnant. In 2022, I decided to apply to be a domestic helper. In January 2023, I had my interview with my first employer, and they hired me. My flight was on April 27, 2023. But two months later, since it was my first time and I faced some personal family issues, I made the tough decision to resign. I really regret that now because my employer was so nice and humble, but my homesickness got to me. 😔 Now, I'm ready to finish my contract or even work longer.
