Hello, I am Charlene, 30 years old, married, and from the Philippines. I worked as a Domestic Helper in Hong Kong from June 16 to June 30, 2025. I had to end my contract with my employer because the communication was really poor. The whole family didn’t speak English, even though they said during the interview that the kids were good at it.  Scheduling was tough because they couldn't give me a routine, and I didn’t get meals for breakfast and lunch. I cooked meals based on their preferences, picked up and dropped off the children at school, some groceries, cleaned the house, laundry, and helped the kids with English. I hope my next employer will stick to what we've agreed on in the contract and interview. Thank you so much.
