I used to work in Singapore as a helper for a family of five—two adults and three children. My duties included cleaning the house, doing laundry, ironing, cooking, and washing the car. Here in the Philippines, I've been working as a helper for four years for a family of three. My responsibilities are pretty much the same: cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and taking care of a two-year-old child. I take her to school and pick her up, feed her, give her baths, change her clothes, and teach her things like the ABCs and counting numbers.
