Good day, Ma’am/Sir.
My name is Elaine, and I am applying for the position of Domestic Helper. Although I do not have formal experience working as a domestic helper abroad, I have strong hands-on experience managing household responsibilities in my own home.
I come from a humble family where we were raised to value hard work, respect, and responsibility. Growing up, I learned how to do general housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, organizing, and maintaining a tidy home. I also took care of my elderly father, assisting him with his daily needs, and helped look after my niece and nephew, ensuring their safety, meals, and daily routines. These experiences taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion.
I love cooking and I am always willing to learn new recipes and different ways of preparing food. I am open to being taught, supervised, and trained according to my employer’s preferences. I believe that willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and dedication are just as important as experience.
I am also inspired by my sister, who has been working as a Domestic Helper in Hong Kong for almost 30 years. Through her guidance and advice, I have learned the importance of discipline, honesty, and commitment in this kind of work.
Even though I am new to working as a domestic helper professionally, I am hardworking, trustworthy, and eager to improve myself. I am ready to learn and to give my best in serving your family.
Thank you for considering my application.
