ELSIE

I’m Elsie, 49 years old and I’m a single mom to three daughters who are 25, 24, and 17. I started my career as a Domestic Helper, working for a Malaysian family for 6 years. I took care of their two girls when they were just 2 years old and 5 months old, and I stayed with them until they were 7 and 4. I consider myself a hard worker, honest, and I always try to keep a positive attitude. I really love kids and I’m able to work independently. I learn quickly and I’m eager to learn more. I am committed to doing my best, finishing my contract, and building a good relationship with my employer. My second job was in Hong Kong, where I worked for a Chinese family for 4 years. I looked after two adults and a newborn baby, caring for him until he turned 2 years old. I handled everything from preparing his milk, changing his diapers, and giving him baths, to putting him to sleep. I would take him to playgroup and care for him while he played, and I made sure to prepare meals for him and his parents as well. I also enjoyed playing with him and reading books together, and sometimes I would take him to the playground. I managed my time well to keep up with all the household chores, and I always made finishing my contract a top priority.
