Hello Madam, Sir. I’m Emalyn, 42 years old, and I’m applying for the position of domestic helper. I'm very patient, especially with kids, since I have two teenagers myself. I also have experience caring for toddlers. I consider myself a kind and trustworthy person, so you can rely on me to take good care of your children while you’re at work. I can cook simple meals, and I’m a quick learner, so I’m happy to learn any specific dishes you’d like me to prepare.

My previous employer was a Chinese national living here in the Philippines. He was single and had many pets. I worked for him for 15 years, where my duties included cooking, washing clothes, cleaning the house, doing groceries, and taking care of his cats and dogs. I also handled laundry, ironing, and washing his cars. He owns a construction company, and sometimes I helped him with the materials needed for the construction sites. I decided to resign because I wanted to try being a domestic helper in Hong Kong, and he supported my decision. The reason I stayed with my boss for so long is that I’m very loyal.
