Evelyn

My name is Evelyn. I’m 43 years old and I have one child. I’ve spent the last 15 years working as a domestic helper and nanny in Hong Kong, helping out six different families from different backgrounds, including Chinese, Irish, and French. I’ve cared for kids from infants up to pre-teens. My work has included cooking a variety of meals, like Asian, French, Indian, Thai, Western dishes, and some baking too. I’ve also taken care of housekeeping, tutoring, and doing grocery shopping for the families I’ve worked with. Before that, I taught all the core subjects to elementary students aged 4 to 12 in public schools back in the Philippines. Besides my work, I also volunteer and train as a swimming coach with the Splash Foundation.

About me, I’d say I’m hardworking, honest, patient, and loyal. I truly enjoy being around children. I can work independently and motivate myself, but I’m also a good listener and work well with a team in the household. I’ve been reliable and trustworthy over the years, which is shown by my long service with many families, and I can provide references if needed.
