Gladys Mae

Hello. I am Gladys Mae, 36 years old, single, and from the Philippines. I worked as a domestic helper for 7 years in Malaysia. At first, I found it difficult to adjust because I wasn’t used to spicy food, but over time, I adapted to their meals and daily routine. My employer is very understanding and supportive, and I learned to cook Indian dishes like chicken curry. They enjoy traveling, going to beaches, and hiking, and sometimes leave for vacations while I care for their home and cat. Through this experience, I learned that the best qualities of an employee are trustworthiness and open communication with the employer to avoid problems and mistakes. Thank you.
