Hello! I'm a Nursing graduate with 9 years of caregiving experience. Most of my work has been providing home care for elderly patients, especially those with learning and mental health challenges. In my last job, I cared for a patient who had a stroke and needed dialysis three times a week. She was 84 years old and dealing with various physical and mental health issues. My role included basic medical care, checking on her mental state, offering simple therapies, and helping with daily tasks like meal prep, grocery shopping, and cleaning. I also helped take care of two kids, getting them ready for school and sometimes assisting with their homework. Over the years, I've learned to recognize when someone might need more medical help, extra support, or just someone to talk to.
