My name is Irene. I started out by studying Psychology in college, but in 2016, I decided to take a caregiving course and earned my certificate. Since then, I've been working closely with people who really need support.
Most of my experience comes from taking care of very sick patients. I've looked after folks with serious conditions like Stage 4 lung cancer, heart failure, and diabetes. Since many of my patients were often in critical situations, I learned how to handle medical equipment like oxygen tanks, feeding tubes, and blood sugar monitors. I also had the chance to work abroad in Hong Kong and Taiwan, where I did housework and made sure elderly clients were safe and happy.
As for me, I am a patient, calm, and reliable person. Caring for someone in pain or dealing with a mental health issue really needs you to stay steady and kind, even when things get tough. I'm also good at adapting to new environments, and I can speak English, Filipino, Cebuano, and Mandarin. My main goal is to help the household run smoothly and ensure that the person I care for is safe.
