Jade Leah

Hi, I’m Jade Leah. I’m 42 years old, married, and I have four kids. I’ve worked for 6 years working abroad in two different countries: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In my first country, I worked for a family of seven. I started my day by getting the youngest child ready for school, which included preparing breakfast and packing a lunchbox, along with helping them with their hygiene and putting on their uniform. Once they left, I took care of housework until it was time to cook lunch. I would assist the Madam or her daughter in the kitchen, helping to prepare whatever they wanted for the day, including salads, juices, and appetizers. After lunch, I would clear the table, wash the dishes, clean the kitchen, and then do the laundry.

In my second country, I worked as a nanny and cook for a family of six. My mornings started with preparing breakfast for the two eldest girls and the Madam as they got ready for school and work. After they left, I did some housework while the two youngest were napping. At 9 a.m., once the cleaning was done and the Madam went to work, I took care of the little ones, changing them, making their breakfast, and then playing with them. We read books, counted numbers, recognized letters and animals, and sang baby songs. After about two hours of activities, I would focus on doing the laundry and start preparing for their lunch. After lunch, I would also do some ironing while I waited for the Madam to come home from work.
