Hi, I’m Janice. I’m 43 years old, married, and I have four children — three girls and one boy. From 2011 to 2013, I worked in Singapore taking care of an elderly woman who had a stroke. She was 84 years old and I helped her for two years and nine months. I managed the household, cooked meals, did some cleaning, and laundry. I finished my contract, but unfortunately, she passed away. Then in 2018, I worked for a Malaysian family in Singapore. They had four adults — the parents and two brothers-in-law — and three children who were seven years old, two years old, and six months old. I took care of the kids and managed the household. However, I was there for only three weeks because the family needed to move to Malaysia. They wanted to bring me along, but I wasn’t ready to go. So, I returned home to the Philippines. After two weeks, I came back to Singapore to care for another elderly woman who was 64 years old and suffering from cancer. But sadly, I could only stay for one month before she passed away as well. Now, I’m ready to look for work again. I hope to find a kind employer. I’m hard-working, patient, and willing to learn. I really enjoy taking care of elderly women. I need a job to support my children, especially since they are in school and going to college. Thank you for considering me. God bless!
