I have six years of experience as a domestic helper abroad—two years in Saudi Arabia and four years in Singapore. In Saudi Arabia, my main duties included housekeeping, cleaning, assisting with cooking and meal prep, doing laundry, ironing, and taking care of four children aged 14, 12, 8, and 3. While in Singapore, I also took care of household chores, cooking, meal prep, laundry, ironing, and looking after an elderly person. In my last contract in Singapore, I did similar tasks: housekeeping, light cooking and meal prep for two children aged 10 and 7, and dropping them off and picking them up from school.
