Hello! I am Jay Dawn, I am 32 y.o and I've been working as a domestic helper in hongkong for almost 5years now. My family and friends described me as a respectful, kind, loving, strict and straightforward person. I don't like arguments or holding grudges to someone that's why I appreciate corrections. I love to learn new things and I can easily adopt to a new working environment. I'm a goal oriented person and I also have a very positive outlook in life. I enjoy baking. I also love reading books/ebooks and enjoy listening to music or singing it along. My first work experience in Hongkong was working with chinese family. My main duties and responsibilities includes cleaning, washing laundry, cooking, car wash and taking care of their 7y.o son. I learned a lot from my first employer. My madam taught me how to make dumplings, noodles, and some of the szechuan recipes, etc., They also bring me to beijing china where I learned and experience other culture and tradition. In my second employer. My duties and responsibilities are cleaning, washing clothes, cooking, pet care, ironing clothes. But, my main job is taking care of their 4y.o son. Tutoring him, helping him with his homework, teaching him to read, and somehow give him advance lesson with his subjects. I also set playdates whenever they don't have class or I bring him to amusement parks, library, museum or even go fishing if we have free time. We also do baking often times together, because the kid loves to eat bread and pastries. I can say my patience and understanding to the kids behaviour was widened and I am more understanding with the kids actions, and more benevolent and careful specially with the words that comes out from my mouth. I have a good relationship with my 2nd employer. In my 3 years stay with them I didn't had a hard time working with them. They terminated the contract because they migrated to Australia.
