I worked in Saudi Arabia as a domestic helper from 2023 to 2025, looking after a married couple, their three teenagers, and one elderly person. My main duties included basic cooking, washing and ironing clothes, and cleaning. But my biggest responsibility was taking care of the kids. I made their breakfast, prepared their lunch boxes, got their uniforms ready, helped them with their homework, and played with them when they didn’t have school. For the elderly person, I assisted her with bathing, changing her diapers, feeding her, and reminding her to take her medications. I also helped her walk around the house for some exercise. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, I took care of four kids aged 1, 3, 5, and 6 years old.
