Good day Madam/Sir, my name is Jennifer, 34 years old, from the Philippines. I worked in Bahrain for 2 years as a domestic helper.

My daily routine started early at 4:00 AM to prepare breakfast for three boys before school, simple meals such as sausages, chicken nuggets, pancakes, fruits, and coffee for Madam. I also assisted the youngest child (5 years old) with washing and dressing in his uniform. After the family left for work and school, I managed household chores including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and mopping. In the afternoons, I accompanied the children from school to their grandmother’s house for lunch, then supervised playtime or helped with homework. For dinner, I sometimes prepared simple meals like corn soup, fried frozen food, or eggs and bread, depending on Madam’s instructions.
