Hi, I’m Joan. I’m 43 years old and originally from the Philippines. I see myself as a compassionate, hardworking, and honest person. I really value feedback, as I believe it can help me improve my work and provide better service, whether that’s to patients or employers. I’m a quick learner and eager to learn more to really fit the position I’m applying for. After I passed my nursing board exam, I went to the Middle East and worked as a staff nurse in a surgical ward for four years. Then I moved to California to be with my husband and passed the Licensed Vocational Nurse exam. I worked in a long-term care facility, focusing on elderly care, for almost six years. I haven’t worked since 2017 because I was taking care of my sick husband until he passed away last year. Currently, I have an active license as a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines, and I also hold an NCII certificate for housekeeping from TESDA. I'm hopeful that an employer will see the value I can bring to their team. I am genuinely looking for any job opportunity and am flexible with the type of work. I take my responsibilities seriously, and I would truly appreciate any help in finding a position suited to my skills. Thank you very much for your time.
