Hi! I am Joan, 27 years old, single, and from the Phillippines. I've worked in Malaysia for about 3 ½ years for two Chinese families. Being with them enabled me to interact with children better and know more about their culture. My job then was mainly household chores, a bit of cooking, and taking care of the children, and per care (dogs(2 shitzus and 1 Labrador, tortoise/koi fish). I love helping children do homework so I do my best whenever they needed help in that aspect since both parents of the children are working.  When it comes to instructions, as long as it is clear I will understand, when I'm in doubt, I don't hesitate to ask and verify. Flexible and considerate. When it comes to cooking and baking, I wouldn't say I'm very good at it but I can follow recipes just fine. I know a bit of Chinese cooking since my former employers were Chinese. If you're interested please do reach out and contact me.
