Jovelyn

Hello, everyone! My name is Jovelyn, I’m 40 years old, and I’m from Bohol in the Philippines. Right now, I’m still here in the Philippines. I’m married, and I graduated from Banguerohan National High School.

For my work experience, my first employer had a family of five. My main responsibilities were taking care of their 2-month-old baby girl. I would bathe her, get her clothes ready, sterilize the bottles, play with her, and check her diapers regularly.

For my second job, I worked as a domestic helper in Al Khairatiyat, Qatar, for almost 3 years and 2 months. I was with a family of nine. My main duties included cleaning the house, washing and ironing clothes, and cooking meals. I also helped take care of twin kids, a boy and a girl who were 6 years old. Sometimes, I checked their schoolwork and got their school supplies and clothes ready.

My third job was here in the Philippines, where I worked as a caregiver for an elderly person since 2022 until 2024. I took care of her at the age of 84. My main tasks included changing her diaper, bathing her, feeding her, and also doing household chores like cleaning and cooking.
