Hi, I’m Junelene. I’m 35 years old, married, and I have three boys who are 16, 13, and 10. I graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration. I worked as a cashier here in the Philippines for two years, from 2017 to 2019, but I had to resign because I needed to take care of my disabled grandmother and my kids. Now, I’m planning to apply for a job in Hong Kong. I was hired as a domestic helper starting in January 2025. My job involves taking care of my employer's daughter. I wake up early in the morning to wash clothes and prepare the child for school. After I drop her off, I go to the market to buy vegetables and pork for cooking. In the evening, after shopping, I pick her up from school, and we go home together. I take care of her—dressing her, preparing her lunch, and putting her to bed. Once she’s asleep, I clean the house. After cleaning, I wake her up to give her vitamins and some fruit. In the afternoon, I cook dinner, and after we eat, I wash the dishes and take out the trash. When I’m done with all that, I give her some milk and then put her to bed.
