Juvy

My name is Juvy, 32 years old, married, and I have two kids. I’ve got almost 5 years of work experience as a domestic helper, nanny, and in elderly care. Three of those years were in the Philippines. I worked for a Filipino-Canadian family, taking care of their 3-year-old boy. Then, I spent almost two years abroad in Hong Kong with two different families. My first job there lasted 1 year and 6 months, where I looked after four family members, including two kids aged 6 and 9. I had to leave that job because I had some family issues back home that needed my attention. My second job was with a family of five, including two adults, an elderly person who was 98, and two kids aged 9 and 13. I worked for them for about five months but had to move on because it was hard to meet their demands, as I didn’t have enough food and rest.

In my roles, I’ve cared for toddlers, kids, and the elderly, and I’ve also handled household chores like cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry.

To my future employer, I hope you consider giving me a chance. I’m a dedicated worker, a fast learner, and I have a kind heart.
