Hello! I’m Lea, 38 years old, married, and I have four kids. I’ve worked for more than 2 years in Qatar and over 2 years in the UAE. My job as a domestic helper in the Middle East has been a mix of heavy daily routines, cultural adjustments, and diverse personal experiences.

My duties include housekeeping tasks like sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms. I also wash dishes, manage laundry, iron clothes, and take care of wardrobes. I prepare daily meals for the family and clean up the kitchen after. I look after the children, helping them with what they need before they go to school and picking them up afterward. My shifts can be long, usually between 12 to 18 hours a day, depending on the household needs and family size. I’ve learned to use a lot of patience, perseverance, and love in my work.
